CulturalRenewal.org appeals to the culturally conscious, interested in renewing culture via venture philanthropy. With its relationship to CasueCollection.com, CulturalRenewal.org also appeals to college communities and a wide audience including those interested in the arts, personal growth, and social responsibility. Visitors to CauseCollection.com and CulturalRenewal.org are invited to Click to Contribute (each impression represents one contribution), where our Gratitude for Goodness Sake! page opens, showcasing the banners of our sponsors and offering links to their corporate websites. It also highlights The Count of Contributions, listing daily, weekly, monthly, and total tallies of contributions. Here, visitors witness the efforts and acknowledge the beneficiaries their contributions helped support through sponsorship participation.
About sponsoring the renewal of our culture at CulturalRenewal.org.
CulturalRenewal.org may be one of the best media buys on the Internet for the following reasons:
The average cost to run an advertisement on the Internet is approximately 3.5 cents per impression (CPI) (The Boston Globe, 7/6/99). The cost for a sponsorship banner on our Gratitude for Goodness Sake page is significantly lower and varies depending upon the period of time each sponsor pledges (see Pricing). These banners are a bit smaller than average, however considerably more noticeable in their context.
Currently, the average click-thru rate on the Internet is approaching 0.5%, representing approximately one person out of 200 clicks on the average banner advertisement. Our sponsors are currently receiving click-through rates of ( ). The reason being, the people who contribute through CulturalRenewal.org are grateful to the sponsors for supporting the cause of renewing our culture and express a desire to honor sponsors with their business.
By participating in sponsorship, your company receives tremendous goodwill from those who visit CauseCollection.com and CulturalRenewal.org to make a contribution. Furthermore, sponsorship of the renewal of our culture at CulturalRenewal.org serves to identify your company with high profile acts of corporate philanthropy. It’s great public relations and it’s tax-deductible!
Sponsors also benefit from our site’s interlinks with popular nonprofit websites, and the public outreach campaigns surrounding CulturalRenewal.org, CauseCollection.com, and upcoming Cause Collection tours.
Each CulturalRenewal.org sponsor pays a standard rate for each contribution made by visitors at our site. Corporations (and patrons) pledge their sponsorship for a designated period of time. Current rates: 3 cents per contribution (CPC) daily; 2.5 CPC weekly; 2 CPC monthly; 1.5 CPC quarterly, 1 CPC ½ year, and 0.5 CPC annually. As a sponsor, you are sent a billing statement showing the total contributions for your pledge period (monthly – annual pledges are billed monthly). Accordingly, sponsors write a check directly to Cultural Renewal for the amount due (100% tax-deductible). CauseCollection.com and Creativity within Reason are not recipients of this transaction.
Sponsors are encouraged to pledge a one-day test sponsorship to determine cost-effectiveness. Based on our current daily average of contributions (at 3 CPC), the approximate cost of sponsoring one day is currently $ ( ). We recommend you reserve the specific days you want to pledge your sponsorship two weeks in advance. To confirm your pledge, e-mail us the banner ad you want to use and the URL it will link to (see below for specifications). The exact number of contributions on the day of your pledge will be posted on our Gratitude for Goodness Sake! page. Suppose there are 10,000 contributions on the first day of your sponsorship. You are then billed for 10,000 contributions x 3 cents = $300.00. You then make a check out for that amount to Cultural Renewal, whose address appears on the bill, and send in your tax-deductible contribution. That’s all there is to it.
For your convenience, we have established a limit on the maximum number of contributions you pay for on any given day (unless you pledge otherwise). This limit is 150% of the largest daily tally of contributions within the last 28-day period as showcased on Gratitude for Goodness Sake! page. For instance, if the largest tally in the last 28 days numbered 30,000 contributions, then the most you pay for is 45,000 contributions. This safeguards you in the event there is an unexpectedly large volume of contributions on the particular day of your sponsorship. (This has yet to occur, for our growth is organically gradual. However, this grants you some peace of mind.)
Initially, all that's required of you as a sponsor is your banner advertisement and the URL you want us to link to, customarily your corporate home page.
Your banner advertisements needs to be formatted as a gif file, 120 wide x 60 high pixels, under 6K in file size, non-blinking, and in harmony with the nature of our site.
(We reserve the right to reject advertisements from potential sponsors that may be considered objectionable by our board members, participating nonprofit organizations, fellow sponsors, and/or those who frequent our site.)
We greatly appreciate your help in pledging sponsorship for renewing our culture.
